The European-average temperature for September of 2022 was nearly 0.4°C below the 1991-2020 period, with a band of below-average temperatures from central Europe to Russia. Furthermore, the global-average temperature was close to 0.3°C above the 1991-2020 period and the joint 4th warmest September with 2016.
