Climate Action Project

What is it about?

The Climate Action project is a free student-centred project which is designed to be implemented in a 6-week journey. This international project involves more than 3.4 million students across 149 countries.

This project aims to change students' behavior and societies' mindset concerning climate change and environmental threats through education.

What are our goals?

  • make people understand what is happening to planet Earth, our Home;

  • tell / show people what we have been doing in this project;

  • convince you to take action to tackle this striking issue.

We chose the name climate side for our website because we want to incorporate Mother Nature in this journey and see from her perspective. We only have this planet, as far as we know, so we need to take immediate action to take care of it. The planet is suffering and we are the cause of such suffering. We are not just hurting Mother Nature, we are hurting ourselves and putting our future at risk.

Why is the website called "climate side"?

Why this logo?

Our thought was trying to understand the side of Mother Nature. She has two sides, the side that everyone sees and the side that everyone prefers to ignore. We drew and designed as our project logo a tree with these two distinct sides: one that is healthy and the other side that is being destroyed by us.

Our team and our fig tree

As a result of the Climate Action Project, our team, presented in the following video, planted a fig tree to finish the project.
