Droughts
Global warming aggravates water shortages in already water-stressed regions and is leading to an increased risk of agricultural droughts affecting crops, and ecological droughts increasing the vulnerability of ecosystems. This will originate conflicts between countries.
Conflicts between countries
For example, with the high level of droughts, Spain's agriculture is decreasing at alarming levels, this made some farmers in Spain ask their government to readjust the share of water of the rivers between Portugal and Spain because the rivers can´t reach a necessary level for the farms in Spain. This provoked a big economic and social problem to Portugal.
